I don’t know how many of y’all, if ANY of you, have had kids or worked with women who were expecting. But I have one thing to ask.
Why do you think she’s doing this for you?
Why do you think she’s doing this for anyone but herself?
When you’re pregnant, sometimes, you feel..bleh. You’re not in love with your body, or you just feel gross.
The way I see it, maybe she hit that point early on. Maybe this is her way of feeling better about herself, even though it might hurt- because as much CRAP as she’s been getting from Amurrica for how she looks right now, maybe just maybe she wants to feel pretty again.
Maybe, just maybe, this is her boosting her own self esteem by doing what makes her feel good, emotionally.
